mix, stir & boil

Use a stainless steel pot. Stir! Low/Medium heat. Wooden spoon, a steel spoon will get HOT. The wax will be H O T!

...keep stiring!

Sugar bubbles. This is 3 mins later. Or so.

tricky!

In this part of the process I did a mistake. If the color gets dark like this, it has boiled too long. The total time of boiling is a approx 5-6 minutes. The pot needs to be removed when the color is light golden, not dark like this Amber color. This wax got too hard to use. The texture shall be soft like a bubblegum. to be able to attach to the body, remove, and attach again. After I created a wax ball hard as a ROCK, I decided to continue tomorrow with a new batch, due to lack of sufficient light for taking new photos. The Wax Ball became a piece of ART (see below), but for the desired result, completely useless.

hot!

Pour the boiled mix into a oven pan. Add one spoon or two of water in the pan first. Writing this it is another day and wax. Less boiled and light golden in color. As a compass use the color instead of time. If using dark sugar...well, good luck.

loose!

Play around and work with the Wax as it gets thicker and thicker when cooling off.

getting firm!

Keep the wax moving.

it's a dough!

For at least 10 mins, work with the wax just like a bread dough. Use water on the hands now and then, otherwise it gets sticky. Drag it in and out. It's like a golden yellow chewing gum in texture and color.

it's ready to use!

Use the amount of wax needed. Put the rest in plastic film (small packages ready to use) and then store in the fridge. I will use a bowl of hot water and wax in a small plastic bag to make it soft for the next use.

balm 1

Pure fresh wheatgrass juice. Apply pure wheat grass juice on the body. Add another layer when it's absorbed by the skin. It's an almost INSTANT removal of itches and irritation, also wheat grass juice is disinfectant. Using either pure juice or a blend with juice and coconut oil; both are optimal balms after waxing.

balm 2

Mix coconut oil and wheatgrass juice. If temp is over 70F/21C the coconut will be liquid. Put the blend in fridge and use when solid. Or just do it before the wax and it will be ready to use to sooth the skin after waxing.

WAX BALL ART and testing result

I used the wax above my eyebrows. The result was satisfying. The texture was good, but my hands got sticky. Practice - Experience - Knowingness. The key is to play with the boiling time = the temp. To the left is the first batch of wax, that after a while became hard as a rock. Can you see the BEAR?
